Opening glass roof systems provide ease of use with their motorized opening and closing features. Additional accessories such as remote controls or rain sensors can also be used. The system typically consists of 3 or 4 panels that interlock and can be opened to ratios of 4/3 or 3/2.

The main support profile of the system can support up to 4 meters. For longer distances, steel support profiles are used. This system, which has undergone water impermeability tests, does not leak water and uses 18-22 mm thick insulating glass in its panels. The color of the glass can be determined as desired. Polycarbonate material can also be used if desired.

Since the roof panels can be opened one by one, the glass can be easily cleaned from both inside and outside. Opening glass roof systems can be used in residential, cafes, restaurants, terraces, and skylights.

The spare parts of the system are guaranteed for 2 years and all the accessories used are made of stainless materials. It is an ideal option for solving the problems experienced in closed areas such as smoking bans.

Additionally, all aluminum profiles can be painted with natural anodized or RAL Color Codes using electrostatic powder paint as desired. Polycarbonate, reflective, colored glasses can also be applied. Transparent or reflective glass usage is also among the options.

In terms of technical specifications, opening glass roof systems can be used on roofs with a slope of 10% - 25%. The glasses should be 10 mm (5 + 5) laminated and tempered, and the maximum panel width is 1250 mm. The maximum system length is 6000 mm, and the minimum system length is 2000 mm. The motor used is determined such that one motor is used for every 25 square meters of area.

Additionally, an optional ceiling curtain can be mounted on the system and the remote-controlled system prevents being affected by sunlight. The system is also insulated glass and resistant to snow loads.

Fixed Glass Roof

Known as the Fixed Glass Roof (Veranda), this system is a structure that can be installed on the tops of open areas such as winter gardens, terraces, and balconies. The first step is to create the iron skeleton. Once the roof skeleton is completed, frames are made by using 4+4 or 5+5 laminated glass in between. These glasses are mounted by placing them on aluminum joinery, using suitable materials and accessories to ensure water insulation.

The underside of glass roofs can be enclosed with a folding glass balcony system to create an elegant space. This structure is used in restaurant, cafe, winter garden, and terrace coverings, and special designs are made according to the application area and customer’s wishes. The Fixed Glass Roof (Veranda) system has various technical features. Specially designed 100×160 aluminum profiles are used as the carrier. For coating, it can be painted or coated in the desired wood pattern with lamination coating or transfer printing paint. Special design aluminum SKY50 is used for the roof detail. The roof glass consists of 4+4 laminated glass with argon gas insulated glass and 6 mm tempered Sunenergy glass. The vertical coating can be done with folding glass insulated sliding or guillotine systems to cover the front and side facades. The front gutter and trough are made of specially designed aluminum profiles, and by connecting the supporting leg profiles to the trough profile, the supporting leg profile also serves as a gutter.
